01. Dracula

KTWU-TV presents "Dracula." It's radio you can see, complete with actors, music and a crew of sound effects The radio drama presents an audio-adaptation of the classic horror tale by Philip Grecian. A set that mimics a 1940's radio stage, complete with sound effects equipment, has been assembled in the KTWU-TV studios on the Washburn University campus.

02. Frankenstein

Victor Frankenstein set out to create life – using corpses stolen from graveyards. During a raging storm, he is successful but, too late, realizes he has created a misshapen, inarticulate horror. And so begins a haunting tale of creature vs. creator, in KTWU’s local production - 1940’s radio-style drama from A.R.T.S., Inc.

03. Hound of the Baskervilles

The howl of the spectral hound casts a chilly terror across viewers watching the classic Sherlock Holmes story as it plays out live on television, but presented as if the year is 1940 and everyone is inside a typical radio station studio. A performance features radio-style actors and spectacular, handmade sound effects can be experienced when A.R.T.S., Inc. presents the Karen Hastings Players.

05. Twisted Tales of Poe

Three mysterious and macabre tales from Edgar Allan Poe form the basis of TWISTED TALES OF POE presented like a live radio-style drama. The three classic stories are “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Cask of Amontillado,” and “The Raven.”

07. The Invisible Man

Set in the village of Iping, in a blinding snowstorm, a stranger arrives at the Coach & Horse Inn demanding a room. His head is bandaged and his eyes concealed behind blue goggles. His possessions arrive the following day-- scores of strange glass bottles and boxes of books. When the landlady begins to make inquiries, the stranger loses his temper, strips off his wrappings and is--invisible.

09. Werewolf Of The Bayou

It is 1940, and ace newspaper reporter Margo Mason heads to the Louisiana swamps to investigate a series of strange murders and an ancient curse centered around an archaeological dig and a strange skeleton unearthed: The body of a human, the head of a wolf. The local swamp witch says it's the rougarou werewolf, returned for vengeance. But who is the werewolf? And who will be its next victim?

Mr. Geery is surprised to wake up unscathed in the twisted wreckage of his automobile, and even more surprised when the mysterious Mr. Maro escorts him to the towering Elysian Arms Hotel, where each room is occupied by a singular and frightening story.
