Subarashiki Hibi,

01. Down the Rabbit Hole I

We're introduced to our protagonist Minakami Yuki, smoking on the rooftop of a department store. There, she has a mysterious encounter with her socially awkward, shy classmate Mamiya Takuji. She's surprised he even had the courage to approach her to strike up a conversation with her. When she's lost in her thoughts, he suddenly vanishes from her sight.

Yuki heads to a CD shop in Suginomiya, to buy a new CD from her favorite band. On the way there, she runs into her childhood friends - the twins Wakatsuki Kagami and Tsukasa. Yuki jokes around with them, pretending not to know Kagami and brushing off her commitment at her part-time job.

02. Down the Rabbit Hole II

The chapter begins with a replay of Yuki and Takujis dialogue from DTRH1 before switching to a scene of Yuki riding a train and rambling about her day to day life. Yuki leaves the train and heads towards a CD store in Suginomiya where she encounters an oddly behaving Zakuro. Yuki does not have any previous memory of Zakuro whereas Zakuro claims to have previously met Yuki, Zakuro then kisses Yuki and begins to speak about the End Sky, she also claims that the world will end soon but she has the power to save it. Zakuro abruptly exits the scene after being beckoned by two girls, a confused Yuki then departs with the Wakatsuki sisters to walk home.

03. It's my Own Invention

It's This time, we're put in the perspective of Mamiya Takuji, and we get a peek at what was unfolding behind the curtains in Down the Rabbit-Hole II. Things spiral out of control as some questions are answered, but more are raised.

The tale of a certain incident that causes the perception of the world and the self to shift. Beyond recognition, he finds salvation in the limits of the world.

04. Looking Glass Insects

r. Looking-glass Insects takes us back to early July, before Zakuro's suicide for the first time, due to this, we finally get to see the events that led up to the trigger for the main story.

The tale of the battle of two girls. They use literature and chemistry to fight reality. Literature is a strong will, chemistry is a force of the physical world. These two are their only weapons against reality.

05. Jabberwocky I

abberwocky I is the fourth chapter of Subarashiki Hibi. Jabberwocky I puts us in the perspective of Yuuki Tomosane. The truth behind everything finally begins to unravel. We enter the second half of the story.

The tale of a young boy who was destined to be the Destroyer. He must destroy the Creator for the sake of a harmonious world.

07. Jabberwocky II

The story of "the hill and the sunflowers".

Jabberwocky II is the seventh and final chapter of Subarashiki Hibi. We're put back into Mamiya/Yuuki Tomosane's perspective for the climax of the story. The events of years past finally come into light. The story reaches its climax as Tomosane fights for his wonderful everyday.

The tale of a distant world. It tells the story of the road to the Hill of Sunflowers and the scenery beyond it.
