A tape sent to Adam bears information regarding Alternates.

Adam makes it out alive, and reluctantly makes a memorial video for a lost friend as a result of a harsh order from Sarah. Meanwhile, Thatcher reflects on his loss and vows to exact vengeance.

Channel 3 news reports the death of an Electronics store owner, Dave Lee, being found dead outside a St. Gabriel Church parking lot. Sarah and Evelin talk about Adam's recent behavior. Thatcher confronts Adam at a house.

Evelin and Sarah look for Dave on hacked security cameras; Thatcher tries to get information out of Adam about the alternates.

The video begins with an "ON AIR" sign, gradually deteriorating to low-quality footage of Adam's drawings of Gabriel and The Intruder, culminating with St. Gabriel's Church and text stating "answers lie beneath".

Dave Lee tests the recursive generation loss of VHS tapes, with the copies of the original tape very quickly deteriorating before an alternate attack.
