Police officer Marco Ruffo's family is threatened as he attempts to take down money-laundering criminal Roberto Ibrahim.

Ten years later, Verena continues her investigation into Ibrahim and the currency dealers who work with him.

While the team works hard to pull off an operation involving multiple targets, important evidence goes missing.

Guilhome gets assistance from a surprising source. Verena goes after João Pedro as Judge Rigo weighs a momentous decision.

Verena feels like she can't trust anybody anymore. Ibrahim's wife is angered by what he has been doing in jail.
