Seeing how other mothers are bonding with their daughters, Raina wishes to be closer with her mom. In hopes of building a closer relationship, Raina initiates a heartfelt conversation with her to talk about her youth. As their conversation flows, Raina discovers that they are more alike than she thought, when she learns about how her mom views her relationship with her own mother. Her mom once also wanted to be close to her own mother, but an incident occurred that made her decide that it was no longer possible. From then on, Raina’s mother wishes that her own children would feel safe to talk to her about anything. It was through this that Raina realized that they were closer than she thought.
